Hertford County Historical Cemetary

So hello friends...Remember the other night in class when we were looking through Hertford county historical books? If you may recall, Carol and I discovered that Eli Foote...the grandsire (AKA, grandfather of Harriet Beecher Stowe) is buried in the Dickinson Cemetary in Winton. This cemetary is directly across the street from my house. I have often heard my husband talk of the history of the cemetary and that a historical figure was buried there. However, he did not know who. How excited was I to inform him of my discovery. Remember that Harriet Beecher Stowe was the author of "Uncle Tom's Cabin". I am sure we have all been required to read that book at some point in time.
Anyway...I just thought that it was kinda neat! Thanks Dr. Long for the insight. Probably would not have known if you had not passed aroung the books.
